Pole Creek Design Development: With our partner, the USFS – Tahoe National Forest (TNF) Truckee Ranger District, we are releasing an RFP for provision of services related to project design development for the Pole Creek Restoration Project.

The Truckee River Watershed Council (TRWC) is requesting proposals for consulting services to prepare technical design documents and memorandum for multiple restoration opportunities identified via the Pole Creek Watershed Assessment (TRWC 2024).  The project scope builds on previously identified conceptual design elements and includes initial review of pertinent data, field assessment, and development of engineered project design documents beginning with 30% design and resulting in final 100% design documents and memorandum.

The purpose of the Pole Creek Restoration Project is to complete evaluation and design related to degraded road systems within the Pole Creek sub-basin to improve hydrologic connectivity and overall ecosystem function. The consulting firm shall have demonstrated experience in ecological restoration design development, specifically related to erosion control, water quality and/or drainage improvements along dirt roads.

Proposals are due on May 1st by 5pm. Please see below for project details and associated appendices, including project location and vicinity.
