River-Friendly Landscaping Program: Direct Contact Associate (2 openings)

As a Direct Contact Associate, you’ll be promoting our River-Friendly Landscaping program by canvasing targeted neighborhoods and explaining the program directly to the property owners. You will also assist Conservation Assistants in recruiting homeowners at events such as Earth Day, Truckee Thursdays and other community wide events.

This part-time, independent contractor position runs from April through September, 2015. The application deadline is Wednesday, March 18, 2014. PLEASE NOTE: Interviews will be held the week of March 23rd.

Green Bucks Program: Green Bucks Manager (1 opening)

As the Green Bucks Manager, you’ll be managing all aspects of Green Bucks, a program of the Truckee River Watershed Council and the Tahoe Fund to harness the passion of visitors and residents to help care for our extraordinary environment.

The Truckee River Watershed Council (TRWC) seeks an experienced Development Director to lead our philanthropic strategy and strengthen long-term funding for watershed restoration across the region.

This senior role is ideal for a proven fundraising leader who excels in major gifts, donor strategy, and board partnership, and who is ready to help shape the next phase of TRWC’s organizational growth.
