On June 7, 2011, the Truckee River Watershed Council received a $10,000 Vail Resorts Echo grant (http://www.northstarattahoe.com/info/pressreleases/pressreleases.11_echo_program_launch.release.asp). Northstar-at-Tahoe launched Vail Resorts Echo, the Company’s corporate sustainability program, by announcing a partner grant to the Watershed Council. The grant will support our volunteer based programs like Truckee River Day and Adopt-a-Stream. Vail Resorts Echo encompasses three core efforts – environmental stewardship, charitable giving and community volunteer engagement.
