We just received the announcement from the Truckee Donner PUD and their partners:

The Truckee Donner Public Utility District (TDPUD), Northstar Community Services District (NSCSD) and Placer County Water Agency (PCWA) are partnering to develop a groundwater management plan and groundwater model for the Martis Valley basin. As part of the public process, the agencies are hosting the first public workshop on Wednesday, July 20th to introduce the community to the groundwater management plan process and the efforts to date on the groundwater model.

The workshop will be held from 5:00-7:00 pm in the board room of the TDPUD at 11570 Donner Pass Road in Truckee. Representatives from the agencies will be present at the workshop to explain the project and answer questions. Information will be displayed at three poster stations; 1) Groundwater Management Plan Components, 2) Physical Setting, and 3) Integrated Precipitation, Surface Water and Groundwater Model. All interested citizens are welcome and encouraged to attend.
