26th Annual Truckee River Day

October 17, 2021

Join us for a day of river, meadow and wetland restoration. You will be working side-by-side with other volunteers to plant restoration sites with seedlings and willows, remove invasive vegetation, mulch sensitive areas, and more.

Registration is required and is now open. Please register for Truckee River Day HERE.

  • Let us know your project preferences and if you are a part of a group. We will do our best to place you in your first choice project, but ask you to be flexible.
  • If you are a part of a group, please register early.
  • The week before Truckee River Day, we will email with information about your project – the work you will be doing, where you will meet, and what you need to wear and bring.

Later in the day, you are invited to the Truckee River Day Fair from 1pm to 4pm at Granite Flat Campground (1 mile south of Truckee on Hwy 89). All are welcome. Enjoy live entertainment, environmental education activities, art projects and more! Presented in partnership with Sierra Watershed Education Partnerships.
