Love the River? Come work with us! We are hiring for the 2016 River-Friendly Landscaping season.

River-Friendly Landscaping helps homeowners improve water quality and protect the surrounding environment by voluntarily implementing soil erosion control measures and water conservation practices in their yards.
We are currently looking for a great candidate to work with us as a Conservation Assistant.
We are also soliciting proposals for Direct Contact Associates. This is an independent contractor position.

Here are the details regarding both opportunities. Please feel free to share!

Conservation Assistant (1 opening)

This employee position begins April 4, 2016 and ends by November 18, 2016 (with possible extension based on weather). The application deadline is Wednesday, March 2, 2016.

PLEASE NOTE: Interviews will be held on Friday, March 11th in the morning.

The Conservation Assistant (CA) is the primary contact with the property owners participating in our River-Friendly Landscaping program from initial contact to implementation. The CA completes site assessments, makes recommendations for possible erosion control measures, creates the Treatment Workbook for the property owner, and coordinates with consultants to incorporate professional recommendations into the report. The CA also conducts pre and post lawn conversion site reviews. The CA assists the property owner by verifying ongoing and completed work and helping to facilitate a potential rebate.

If you have education and/or experience working in a related field such as soil science, resource management, stormwater management, or environmental science, submit your application today!
