Lisa Wallace, Executive Director

Preserving and protecting the watershed is surprisingly multifaceted.

Part science: we assess and monitor the biology, geology, and hydrology of each project.

Part management: we align agencies, consultants, contractors & volunteers to get the job done.

Part funding: we find the grants, foundations, and donations needed to finance each effort.

Part education: we tell locals, visitors and water-users about our stressed and fragile eco-system.

Since 2015, Brenda Gilbert has been leading the way for us in the funding and donations part of our organization.  She is ready to start another chapter (we wish her all the best!) and we are now looking to fill the Development Director position.

The Development Director manages our program to raise unrestricted funds from individuals, businesses, and private foundations using the Benevon fundraising model.  The Development Director works closely with a fundraising team of staff, board, and volunteers. The Development Director is also responsible for our Communications programs.

This is senior leadership position and we offer competitive compensation, a benefit allowance for retirement savings or medical coverage, a dog-friendly office, and a collaborative work environment. We provide professional development opportunities and when possible, promote from within. Our culture supports and inspires conservation achievement and personal development within the workplace and beyond.

If you’re interested, we’re looking forward to hearing from you! Please see the position announcement for details and send an application. We are reviewing applications as they come in.
