Lisa Wallace, Executive Director
Preserving and protecting the watershed is surprisingly multifaceted.
Part science: we assess and monitor the geology, hydrology, biology, and botany of each project.
Part management: we align agencies, consultants, contractors, and volunteers to get the job done.
Part funding: we find the grants, cost-sharing, and donations needed to finance each effort.
Part education: we tell locals, visitors, and water-users about our stressed and fragile eco-system.
We’re hiring a Program Manager as one of several staff who plan and implement restoration projects to increase the amount of restored land in the middle Truckee River watershed. They also manage one or two volunteer-based restoration programs.
They work with staff at partner organizations to assist with project funding, public and stakeholder outreach, and the design, implementation, and monitoring of restoration projects.
If you’re interested, we’re looking forward to hearing from you! Please see the hiring announcement for details and send an application. We are reviewing applications as they come, in but the deadline is the end of January.
