Martis Watershed Assessment Presentation

The Truckee River Watershed Council led an effort in 2011 to conduct an assessment of the Martis Creek watershed and identify areas in need of restoration and protection. The assessment will provide a framework for projects over the next several years. We will present the results of the assessment on January 24th at the Cedar House Hotel from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM. Please RSVP to Michele at (530) 550-8760 x 4 if you plan to attend.

Adopt-a-Stream Aquatic Monitoring

Regular lab nights in 2012 are on the 2nd Tuesday and 4th Wednesday of each month from January through April. We'll teach volunteers the basics of insect identification and lab procedures. Labs meet from 5:30 PM to 8:00 PM at the Truckee River Watershed Council office. Click here for more info
