The Truckee River Watershed Council Board of Directors provides direction on such items as administrative policy, financial and legal oversight, personnel policies, fundraising and other administrative matters.
The Coordinating Committee receives recommendations from and make recommendations on program oversight, program planning, policy direction, and funding strategy.
The Projects and Assessments Committee identifies and prioritizes restoration and other improvement projects within the Truckee River watershed. This Committee also reviews and approves watershed and sub-basin assessments conducted by the TRWC.
The Truckee River Day Steering Committee chooses, designs, and implements restoration projects for our annual Truckee River Day.
The Truckee River Basin Water Group monitors water releases from Lake Tahoe, Donner Lake, Prosser Reservoir, Independence Lake, Stampede Reservoir and Boca Reservoir. The Group also monitors progress on the Truckee River Operating Agreement.
The Weed Warrior Steering Committee organizes volunteer programs to identify and control invasive weeds in the Truckee River watershed.

Watershed Issues Forum highlights and facilitates information exchange on issues of importance to the water quality and aquatic and riparian habitat of the Truckee River watershed.
