Help monitor the health of the Truckee River!   The Truckee River Aquatic Monitors collect insects from local streams to monitor water quality.  In the winter, we analyze the samples collected over the past summer. 

Regular lab nights in 2012 are on the 2nd Tuesday and 4th Wednesday of each month from January through April.  We'll teach volunteers the basics of insect identification and lab procedures.  Labs meet from 5:30 PM to 8:00 PM at the Truckee River Watershed Council office.
